Asa Lassiter present owner of Island Compass South.Welcome to Island Compass South, Inc., providing compass repair and compass adjustment, as well as magnets/supplies for professional adjustors. In May, 2008, Asa Lassiter purchased Island Compass South (ICS) from the former owner, Steve Colt.

Asa, a US Navy Veteran. is the cousin of the former owner. When Steve decided to take some time to relax and travel a bit, Asa came to mind as a great match for the compass repair and adjusting business. With Asa's background in the U.S. Navy, extensive experience in electronics and specialized magnetic training, it was a natural transition into compass adjustment and repair.

ICS provides quality service to our clients through professional compass adjustment throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and other coastal states for ships of all sizes and types. We also offer compass repair and rebuilding to our clients worldwide. We serve as a source for sales of tools and magnets for compass adjustors, plus maintain sales of new and refurbished compasses and restored nautical items.
