As you can see, we've introduced a new logo, a new look to our website, and would like to introduce the new owner of Island Compass South (ICS) - Asa Lassiter.

Asa is the cousin of the former owner, Steve Colt. When Steve decided to take some time to relax and travel a bit, Asa came to mind as a great match for the compass repair and adjusting business. With Asa's background in the U.S. Navy, extensive experience in electronics and specialized magnetic training, it was a natural transition into Steve Colt, former owner of Island Compass Southcompass adjustment and repair.

ICS will continue to provide quality service to our clients through professional compass adjustment throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and other coastal states for ships of all sizes and types. We are also continuing to offer compass repair and rebuilding to our clients worldwide. We will still serve as a source for sales of tools and magnets for compass adjustors, plus will maintain sale of new and refurbished compasses and restored nautical items.
